Choose a stitch style, from a fine satin to a bold one or a hand-stitched look, and a thread color for each line.

Tell us your machine and hoop. A live preview shows your label inside the hoop and says whether it fits.
Send it to your machine
Save the file, put it on a USB stick or send it to yourself, and stitch. The guide walks you through the handoff.

Why I made Stitch My Signature.
Hello, I'm David. I am a product designer who spent years making software for large companies, and then found my way into the sewing world. I love thread painting, quilting, and appliqué.
I built Stitch My Signature to help people easily make labels for their quilts. I kept seeing quilters struggle with digitizing software that was complicated and expensive. I wanted to make digitizing simple enough for anyone.

Stitch My Signature is new. I need quilters to try it on their own machines and tell me what stitched well, what broke, and what confused you. You do not need to be good with computers. If anything, that makes you the tester I need most.
How to help
- Start with the beta kit. One page you can print, with a test sheet for a 4 × 4 hoop, a fuller one for 5 × 7, the thread notes, and a feedback page to fill in and photograph beside your stitch-out. The same sheets are in the app under Designs, then Get it for my machine.
- Stitch it on your machine.
- Send me photos of what stitched out, and of anything that broke or confused you. The kit page has the feedback form, or email hello@stitchmysignature.com. I read every one and answer myself.
- Show it off. Post your stitch-out, or your label on a finished quilt, in the testers' group on Facebook, or anywhere with #StitchMySignature.Post your stitch-out, or your label on a finished quilt, with #StitchMySignature. With your say-so, it goes on this page with your first name and your machine, in the gallery.

Things people ask first.
No. You sign or type, and the app makes the stitch file. You only choose how the thread should look.
Yes. Take a photo of it in good light and upload it. The app lets you crop to the signature, and faint or thin lines get a gentle warning so you can thicken them.
Save it, then copy it to a USB stick, or send it to yourself with the share button on an iPad or phone. The help inside the app shows the steps.
It is free to use. If it saves you a trip to the digitizer, there is a tip jar after you export.
Yes. Add a name, a date and a message, each on its own line, each in its own thread color and stitch style.
No. Your designs are saved on your own device, and you can move one as a small file. Accounts may come later, only if testers want them.
